Following the birth of their daughter, Luna Simone, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are looking to have another baby through in vitro fertilization. A few years ago, Teigen underwent fertility treatments and they began their process with 20 embryos.
After everything, they were left with three embryos that Teigen said were, “going to be good for [my] body.”
“The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” she shared.
Teigen also has not held back about her battle with postpartum depression and the effect it had on her. “I have really good days and really bad days, and I don’t tend to talk about the really bad days. But I would hate for people to think those days didn’t exist.”
Before she was diagnosed, Teigen admits to not understanding her depression which is something many women have struggled with. “I thought I was just being a selfish a—hole,” she said.
Thankfully, Teigen shared back in April that she had been prescribed antidepressants and would begin seeing a therapist.
In a recent interview, the model and host gushed about her husband, saying, “I’m much luckier to have John’s personality in my life than he is to have mine. He is insanely patient and such a dork, and he loves seeing me happy, even if that means watching The Real Housewives of Dallas with me for two and a half hours.”
“But there’s a balance,” Teigen clarifies. “If he’s watching MSNBC and is excited about something, then I’ve got to be in that realm.”
It’s so refreshing to see celebs be real and honest about the same struggles the rest of us go through, and here’s hoping we have another adorable Teigen/Legend baby soon!
