In what seems like a freak accident, a young girl was recently hit in the face and started bleeding during a Lady Gaga concert in Connecticut. When the pop star realized what had happened she immediately stopped the show to ascertain the girl’s well being.
From onstage, Gaga said, “I just looked over and I saw. Are you all right? Do you need some extra help? Yeah? Okay, so do you need a paramedic? They’re on their way? Okay.”
After confirming the girl’s name to be Meredith, she sincerely apologized for Meredith’s unfortunate injury and called paramedics over for her saying, “We’re going to make sure that you’re okay, all right?”
As they were escorting her away, Gaga added, “Okay, I think she’s going to go off now to see the doctors. What we all need to remember is that there are things more important than show business. So we’ll do this one for Meredith, all right?”
She immediately launched into an a cappella version of her hit song “Paparazzi” adding, “Make sure to give that girl a backstage pass, too,” in between verses. You can watch the whole thing in the video below that was captured by another fan.
